Private lessons are usually available 2-3 weeks out. Private lessons are $95 per hour. The number of hours needed depends on what we are working on as a training or behavior modification issue. Group lessons are $190 for six weeks. Please see the group classes page for schedules and availability.

Cooper's Dog Training and Behavior Modification is located in the Trader Joe’s shopping center on the corner of SW Garden Home Road and SW Oleson Road in the Garden Home neighborhood of Portland.
It is an excellent location to have a controlled training environment as well as unlimited access to spaces for work on obedience, manners and reactivity in real world situations. The Fanno Creek Trailhead starts opposite the training center and there are also many parks in the area. It is an active, friendly neighborhood with many opportunities for distraction work.

Private Lessons
Private one-on-one lessons will primarily be held at the training center. In-home options are available for the west side and Lake Oswego and West Linn areas. See the Private Lessons Page for lesson programs and pricing.

Overnight Boarding
Cooper’s Dog Training overnight boarding at Kate’s house for current and previous clients. Behavior standards apply. Contact Kate via call or text at 503-452-3065 to see if your dog is eligible.

Leaps and Bounds Puppy Training Program
A board and train puppy program for the wee ones (ie. 8-14 weeks old) that covers crate training, preliminary
house training, "ring the bell", leash familiarity, socializing in a safe manner, and some basic
commands. This is usually a two week program for $750, prorated by day if less than two
weeks. Three weeks is $1050.
